Check out Mally Skok’s “Nursery” at the Junior League of Boston Show House. Skok’s “Ikat Crazy” chair was admired and auctioned off at the 2015 IFDA Take a Seat event. Her 2016 room design “Nursery” is complete with interior choices that are fun yet sophisticated to reflect a young mother’s style as well as a growing child’s imagination.

Call for submissions! The International Furnishings and Design Association’s New England is now accepting submissions for the fourth annual TAKE A SEAT event. TAKE A SEAT features up-cycled chairs redesigned by design professionals such as builders, craftsman, and interior designers. The furniture is created from an existing chair or built from recycled materials. Here are a few examples from last year’s event to help get the creative juices flowing.
