Dear Friends,
If you follow me on any form of social media, you will know my stance on diversity in our world, and my hope for equity and fairness for all in our society. I have never hesitated to be vocal about my political views because they are so intertwined with who I am, how I seek to live my life, and how I embrace and encourage diversity in all aspects of the design and art world.
Having lived my youth in Apartheid South Africa, I have been feeling the wrongness of the present state of race relations in the US for some time. I have already lived through the movie of injustice and reconciliation once in my life, I am filled with hope that a new era is coming for this country.
I urge you all to support small diverse companies that train and help their communities. There is so much beauty to be had out there. Do your homework, spend your money where it can do good. We can never stop working on ourselves, learning, and listening with compassion.
Sending love and kindness to you all,
Mally Skok and the Mally Skok Design Team
Love the four season x stitch in the Yankee magazine article. Did you make or I would love to know the artist.
